Christmas Eve Box Tradition

This December the Bundles of Love Club focused on children living in shelters. My family has had a tradition of Christmas Eve Boxes since I was a toddler. We open one present that has a new set of pajamas and something special to enjoy Christmas Eve as a family, like a book or movie.

So ever since I was five we have sought donations to give to kids in shelters so they can have a magical Christmas Eve as well.

This year our St. Jospeh’s Chapter of BOLC collected items from family, friends, teachers, neighbors and church members. We gathered the week before Christmas break and packed the boxes and wrapped the items. All together we delivered 42 Christmas Eve boxes (some in gift bags) to children ages 18 months to 13 tears old to Sarah’s House Shelter in Ft. Meade, MD.

Thank you to everyone who joined in this effort!
